What to Expect During Your Appointment
1. Confirm Your Identity
Verify your identity and answer a series of security questions to
access your closing documents. These questions are based on
public records and are designed so that only you can answer them.2. Meet Your Notary Online
Join your secure video appointment and review documents
with the notary. You will have the opportunity to ask questions
at this point.
3. Review & Sign
Electronically sign your closing documents.
4. You’re All Set!
After submitting your signed documents, your escrow officer
will let you know when the transaction has been funded.
5. Pick Up Your Keys
It’s time to celebrate!
Before your appointment begins, make sure you have the following:
A valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, or state ID)
A computer or laptop with a working webcam and microphone
(smartphone and tablet devices are not recommended.
